The Blues Odyssey is a Dublin-based international blues collective bringing together world-class musicians from Ireland, Brazil, Italy, and the United States. Rooted in the traditions of Chicago blues, Texas blues, soul, Southern rock, and classic rhythm & blues, the band delivers electrifying performances that celebrate the genre's timeless spirit while infusing it with modern energy and world-class musicianship. Their shows are built around authenticity, improvisation, and the chemistry of six accomplished performers who have shared stages with internationally renowned artists and audiences across the globe.

Fronted by Brazilian vocalist and bassist Nil Guimarães and GRAMMY®-nominated guitarist, multi-platinum producer, and composer Julyo, The Blues Odyssey combines powerhouse vocals, powerful guitar work, soulful Hammond organ, blues saxophone, and an explosive Latin rhythm section. The band's members have extensive careers spanning recording, film composition, television, international touring, and major music festivals, creating a unique musical identity that draws equally from American blues traditions and contemporary global influences.

Although currently performing an acclaimed repertoire of classic blues and soul interpretations, The Blues Odyssey is actively developing original material for future release.
